Worship and Music
"O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand." Psalm 95:6-7
Worship is at the heart of all we do at St. David’s. We are a worshiping community who come together to offer our lives to God on Sundays, on weekdays, at the great services of the church year, and in our daily lives.
We have two worship spaces at St. David's, the Church and the Chapel. The Church is the small building in the graveyard. It was built in 1715 with a deep rooted history. The Chapel is the new, bigger building across the street from the graveyard. It was built in 2006.
There are many ministry opportunities to serve one or all of our four weekly services including altar and flower guilds; the ushers' ministry of hospitality; the vergers' ministry of liturgical overseer; the acolytes, readers and chalice bearers' ministry of helping to lead the worship; leading the congregation in song.
We encourage you to join us often and to find the best way for you to offer your gifts to God through worship.
