Family Ministries - Sunday School (Grades 1-6)
The goal of Christian Education is to provide our children with the Christian Foundation upon which to build their lives.
Grade 1
From 9:15 a.m.-10:30 a.m. 1st graders have two options:
1. Go to the Chapel service with your parents and participate in the “Children’s Sermon” where children and parents of all ages will be accompanied by a priest to the Fellowship Hall for a sermon and prayers.
2. Attend “Good Shepherd’s Park” (replacing Kinder Worship) in the Knewstub Building. This is our Montessori-based learning and play time.
Grades 2-6
We use the Workshop Rotation Model (WoRM) for our Sunday School. The WoRM teaches major Bible stories and concepts through a variety of multi-media workshops. We will explore the same story for three to five weeks, while rotating through different workshops in art, cooking, drama, film, games and computers. WoRM runs from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. starting September 19 in the new "Creation Classrooms." For more information on WoRM go to www.rotation.org.
