Family Ministries - Overview
Family Ministries Overview
Family Ministries provides Christian education, ministry, outreach and community opportunities for the children and youth of St. David’s Church as the path to Christian formation.
Christian formation for our children and youth is one of the most important ways we live into our mission as a church. From infants in the nursery to children and youth in Sunday morning education to weekly youth ministry activities to outreach and service work in the broader community and the world, St. David’s seeks to provide a variety of appropriate ways for our children and youth and their families to grow in the faith and make a difference in the world.

The Balloon Ministry at St. David's
Have you ever looked at a child’s eyes when they walk into a room full of balloons? They just know something special is happening then and there!! Suddenly, they pay attention to what is happening in the room. The Balloon Ministry’s intention is to capture this joy and excitement and share it with all who worship at St. David’s Church.
The Family Ministries Balloon Ministry is intended to brighten the hearts of our children, youth and adults. It’s a form of passive education that highlights the liturgical calendar.
If you would like to volunteer for the Balloom Ministry contact Andrew Kuhn, akuhn@stdavidschurch.org.
Family Ministries Commission and Advisory Board
The goal of the Family Ministries Commission is to continue to improve and implement meaningful worship and education for children 18 and under, to explore and implement opportunities for family through intergenerational programs that embrace the concept of Family Ministries and to support all adult leaders who have been called to work with the children youth and families of St. David's Church.
The Advisory Board is a condensed group comprised of Family Ministries Commission members. The Advisory Board meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month and discusses the details of the Family Ministries program, keeps focused on the mission and helps plan and implement activities monthly. The Family Ministries Commission meets quarterly to discuss big events and programs.
