Children's Sermon (Grades 1-4)
All Children grades 1-4 and parents are welcome to participate in the children's sermon during the 9:15 a.m. service. Children and one of our priests will be escorted to Fellowship Hall by adult volunteers for a sermon using the daily Gospel and the Sermon Box as inspiration. The Sermon box is a small box that will be sent home with a different child each week. The child is encouraged to place one item in the box and return with it to the Children’s Sermon the following week. The priest will open the box during the Children’s Sermon and attempt to connect the item in the box to the daily Gospel reading. Children, parents, priest and volunteers will rejoin the service during the announcements.
